Muse Art Gallery is proud to start the Autumn season with Illuminated - Glass & Gold. Acclaimed Wellington landscape painter, Juliet Best and multidisciplinary Auckland artist Jark Pane have collaborated to create what Pane describes as ‘an ode to the salty landscapes of Aotearoa. Pane’s conch shells reflect the tonal moodiness of Best's landscapes as if the paintings themselves have offered them up from their foreshores. Illuminated celebrates the play of light on our natural surroundings. The exhibition is on at at Muse Art Gallery, 5 Havelock Road, Havelock North from 11 March to 7 April.
